We have been learning to speak Thai at the Mind Your Language School for about 2 months. Within 2 weeks we were sufficiently confident to speak and practise regularly in our interaction with people. The focus on repetition of words and expressions is one of the best methods of teaching one to speak a foreign language. We thoroughly enjoy the drill of repeating words in order to come to grips with very difficult Thai pronunciation.
We are enjoying the Thai language course immensely. It is challenging but stimulating and highly rewarding as we can make ourselves understood in markets, shops, restaurants and most importantly, we can communicate with Thais. The methods which include emphasis on proper pronunciation, verbalisation, sentence structure and building a comprehensive vocabulary are extremely effective.
We highly recommend the Thai language courses at Mind Your Language School for anyone who is keen to learn to communicate effectively in Thailand. The team of Teachers are enthusiastic and encouraging. They certainly make the learning experience great fun and rewarding.
